The dermatologists at Sky Blue Dermatology are passionate about managing common, everyday skin problems. The significance of these problems is often underestimated, the reality being that skin disease can be very uncomfortable, distracting, and also can affect our self-esteem. Most of these problems do not require the “latest technology” rather a doctor prepared to take the time to listen to your story, enquire, examine and form a diagnosis and management plan. This approach is the core of everything we do at Sky Blue Dermatology.
Dermatology has evolved in the last 25 years to include surgery as a key component of the training required to obtain specialist qualifications. Dermatological surgery includes excision of skin cancers and benign lesions. These procedures are performed safely and conveniently by our dermatologists in our specially designed procedure rooms, with local anaesthetic and the assistance of registered nurses.
Regular Skin Checks
Prevention and early detection are very important. Regular skin checks to diagnose melanoma and other skin cancers will result in the best possible outcome.
