The Potenza Technology to Improve Blemishes and Early Signs of Aging

Sky Blue Dermatology expanded our technology platform in 2020 with the addition of the Potenza radiofrequency needling device. The Potenza system rejuvenates collagen and elastin by combining the effects of radiofrequency energy and microneedling. 

Indications for treatment include the early signs of aging, restoration of complexion and skin tone, and for softening of acne scars.

A consultation is required to assess your suitability for treatment and to discuss the details of the procedure. Most patients require 4 to 6 treatments. The treatments are performed by a registered nurse.

About the Author: Sky Blue Dermatology
Robert McDonald BMed (Hons), BSc, MMed, FACD, studied medicine at Newcastle University and has obtained a Masters Degree in skin cancer research. He became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1995. Since then he has worked in private practice in Sydney and established Sky Blue Dermatology in 2000. Robert is also a visiting medical officer at St.Vincent's Hospital, Darlinghurst.
