Setting the standard for Laser Hair Removal…
At Sky Blue Dermatology we utilise the most up to date laser devices for effective and safe laser hair removal.
The GentleLASE 755 nm alexandrite laser is Candela’s premier hair removal laser, treating quickly, comfortably and effectively. The Candela Gentleness laser features the Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD™) to maximise patient safety and comfort. This laser is primarily used to treat people with fair to olive skin tones. We also have a Cutera 1064nm laser which enables our nurses to safely treat darker skin types. Both lasers work by delivering an intense beam of light that passes through the skin and is absorbed by the hair follicle. This light is then converted to heat which destroys the follicle preventing further hair growth. Effective laser hair removal requires a series of treatments.
The latest addition to our laser hair removal devices is the Vectus Laser. The Vectus laser incorporates new diode technology to allow efficient treatment of large body areas in a fraction of the time required with other devices.
At Sky Blue Dermatology our Registered Nurses perform the hair removal treatments. A free consultation will be organised for you and the nurse will assess your hair issues and design a treatment plan for you.
